A WOMAN who threatened to kill her mother in a disturbance at a house in Jedburgh has been ordered to be of good behaviour for the next six months.

Selkirk Sheriff Court heard how 27-year-old Emily Forbes shouted abusive names at her mother, said she was dead and ran her finger along her throat in a threatening gesture at the house on July 5.

Defence lawyer Ross Dow said his client had now reconciled with her mother since the incident.

Forbes, of Woodstock Avenue, Galashiels, had sentence deferred until May 13, 2024.
