LOCALS were once again blown away by the incredible Christmas lights displays around Innerleithen.
A full afternoon of activities on Saturday, December 2 meant there was something for everyone to enjoy around the town.
Businesses hosted craft workshops, and others offered free festive treats such as mince pies, mulled wine, and hot chocolate.
Live music could also be enjoyed at a range of venues, including The Union Club, St Ronan’s Hotel, and St Ronan’s Silver Band led the parade and switch on main event on the corner of Hall Street and High Street.
The Memorial Hall also hosted the Christmas Fayre which welcomed more than 20 stalls selling a range of gifts and crafts.
Sharing to the Switched On Innerleithen page on Facebook, a spokesperson said: “What a Switched On Saturday that was!
“Thank you to all the businesses for getting involved and making such an effort.
“Thank you to all the stall holders who joined us at the Memorial Hall Christmas Fayre.
“Thank you to Elmbank printers for printing our Whats On Guide and to Innerleithen Community Trust for covering those costs.
“Thank you to the town’s pipe and silver bands for creating such a festive atmosphere.
“Thank you to the Innerleithen Civic Association and all their volunteers for giving us such a fantastic display to build an event around and finally to all of you, thank you for coming out, for taking part, for turning up, for shopping local and supporting this special wee community.”
