A FORMER village church and latterly coffee shop in the Borders will soon have a new role.
Planning and listed building consent for change of use, alterations and extension of the former UP Free Church at Main Street in Morebattle has been agreed by Scottish Borders Council.
The site has up until recently operated as St Cuthbert’s Coffee Shop.
Approval has now been granted for its conversion into a dwelling house and commercial artist studio.
