THE Gala Fairydean Rovers FC Community Trust have donated a number of food vouchers and gift cards to the Galashiels Foodbank to help support families over the festive period.
Chair of the Trust Graeme McIver said, “The Trust has traditionally gifted selection boxes for families with children who use the service.

“ However, this year the Foodbank specifically asked for food vouchers to help during the Christmas holidays.
“We are delighted to support the work of this fantastic organisation which is helping to feed as many as 200 people locally this Christmas and throughout the year.

“As a charitable trust rooted in our community, we will continue to support the important work of the Foodbank and in particular its help for children and young people who access the service.”
