BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a 42-year-old man who admitted assaulting a former partner and a man with a hatchet.
Kevin Henderson pleaded guilty to the attacks which happened at his home in Orchard Park, Kelso, on February 27.
He also admitted sending his former partner offensive text messages.
Sentence was deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until January 29 for the production of a criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment.
