A GALASHIELS man has pleaded guilty to assaulting his partner and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Thirty-four-year-old George Ebdale, who had given an address in Queens Drive, Hawick, was granted bail to the family home while background reports are prepared.
Sentence was deferred at Selkirk Sheriff Court until March 4.
