ASSAULTING two retail workers at the Tesco store in Galashiels resulted in background reports being ordered into a 26-year-old man at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Rory Lennon, of High Street, Galashiels, pleaded guilty to assaulting the two men last Friday.
He also admitted stealing a quantity of alcohol at McColl’s in Gala Park on January 29.
A not guilty plea to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner in High Street, Galashiels, on February 2, was accepted by the Crown.
Sentence was deferred until March 4 for the production of criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment and Lennon was granted bail.
