A MAN has been taken to hospital after a “disturbance” at a Borders property, according to police.

Officers said the incident took place at around 4.15am today (Thursday, February 22). 

Enquiries are “ongoing”, say police.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance at a property on Tweed Court in Kelso around 4.15am on Thursday, February 22.

“A 38-year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

“The incident was contained and there was no risk to the wider public.”
