A HAWICK teenager who admitted driving a car while disqualified has been remanded in custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Nineteen-year-old Finlay MacGregor, of Renwick Terrace, pleaded guilty to the offence which happened in Abbotsford Road, Galashiels, on August 8 last year.
He also admitted attempting to pervert the course of justice three months later in November by falsely stating to police he had stolen a car, again in Abbotsford Road.
Sentence was deferred for background reports until March 25 when the case will call at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Peter Paterson refused a motion for bail and MacGregor was remanded in custody.
