POLICE in the Borders are appealing for information following the theft of a motorbike from a lay-by near Hawick.
The Blue Honda motorbike was stolen from thr A7 Hawick to Langholm Road, on a section known as the Branxholme Straight between 8pm on Friday 23rd August and around 12pm on Saturday 24th August.
The bike has since been recovered, however Police are seeking anyone with information to come forward and assist with inquiries.
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, or make an anonymous report through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
