A 22-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with drug offences after Police Scotland executed a search warrant at a property in the Borders.
A home in Beech Avenue in Galashiels was searched on Friday 29th August as a result of recent intelligence and Class A drugs were seized.
Officers recovered quantities of Diamorphine, Methadone and some as yet unidentified tablets, as well as other drug paraphernalia.
The woman who lives at the property was subsequently arrested, cautioned and charged, and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Police Constable Philip Moule of the Community Investigation Unit said: “Police Scotland is committed to keeping people safe and this seizure goes a long way to getting drugs off our streets.
“Anyone who has information about drugs crimes should contact Police Scotland on 101 or, alternatively, phone the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
