POLICE found around £1000 worth of heroin when they raided a Galashiels flat.
Selkirk Sheriff Court was told that officers uncovered the class A drug when searching the home of Stewart McCudden earlier this year.
The 47-year-old admitted being concerned in the supply of the class A drug at his Gala Park home on April 15.
But his lawyer insisted McCudden did not make any financial gain.
McCudden was given a restriction of liberty order, which will keep him in his home from 7pm to 7am, for the next 10 months.
