GALASHIELS Academy celebrated Christmas with a series of dances before the break.

2015 has been another busy year for the secondary.
The school has celebrated the achievements of its pupils by introducing Growth Mindset awards, as well as hosting its annual Sports and Arts and Academic Achievement ceremonies.
In sport, the rugby teams at all ages continue to impress, netball club has proven popular once again and girls’ hockey already has cause for celebration in regional competition.
In drama and music there have been a number of enjoyable outings to various plays and performances, as well as visits from the Scottish Youth Theatre, working with and encouraging pupils to express themselves.
