A 22-YEAR-OLD woman was assaulted by two youths who attempted to rob her of her mobile phone while she was out jogging.
Police have appealed for information following the horrifying attack in Huddersfield Street, Galashiels, on Wednesday, June 27, around 8.15pm.
The suspects, both males, one fat and one thin, are believed to be aged between 15 and 16-years-old.
The first, the thin one, was described around five foot seven inches tall and had dark wavy hair. He was wearing a zipped hoodie, dark blue jogging bottoms and white trainers.
The second suspect, who was described as overweight, was wearing a black jacket, dark bottoms, and spoke with a local accent.
