A 22-YEAR-OLD man was caught on CCTV stealing a quantity of steaks from the local Marks and Spencer store.
At Selkirk Sheriff Court this week, Sean Vincent Johnston, of Scott Street, Galashiels, pleaded guilty to the £78.82 thefts which happened at 11.30am on July 24.
He refused to stop when challenged by staff who were suspicious of him.
Sentence was deferred for a Drug Treatment and Testing Order Assessment until November 3.
