Staff at Specsavers in Galashiels shared the love last week to celebrate World Kindness Day. The warm-hearted Galashiels staff welcomed customers to the store with baked goods and home-made treats. The staff also showed random acts of kindness to three unsuspecting customers.
Lynda Cowe from Kelso was granted two free pairs of designer glasses from the store, while Michael Heron of Peebles received a box of Thorntons chocolates and Janet Snowden from Kelso was presented with a luxury bouquet of flowers. All the customers received a card to tell them about the World Kindness Day concept and why Galashiels had donated them gifts.
