A FIRST Bus driver faces losing his job after being convicted of drinking and driving.
At Selkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, Leszek Stacuhrski, of Hawthorn Road, Galashiels, pleaded guilty to the offence which happened hours after he had finished a shift in the early hours of August 24.
The 51-year-old father of two admitted driving in Currie Road, Galashiels, with a breath/alcohol count of 65 microgrammes - the legal limit being 35.
Depute fiscal Tessa Bradley said police officers spotted the vehicle being driven eratically and followed it into the ASDA car park.
