A GALASHIELS tyre firm has rubber-stamped its support for the Rowan Boland Memorial Trust.
Ostle's Tyres handed over a cheque for £862 to the charity, which it raised by donating £2 for every Uniroyal tyre bought during October and November last year.
Owner Stuart Ostle said: "We are delighted to support local charities such as the Rowan Boland Memorial Trust and help them continue to assist the Borders' sporting stars of the future."
The Rowan Boland Trust has been supporting young sports stars from the region reach their potential since being founded in 2010, following the sudden death of nine-year-old Rowan.
David Boland of the Trust added: "We regularly receive funding applications which show how costly it is for young Borders sportspeople and their families to progress in their sports.
"We handed out 32 grants totalling over £11,000 last year and that figure was largely thanks to the generosity shown by the likes of Ostle's Tyres."
