The summer holidays soon became a distant memory as the swimmers quickly got into a fast and furious program swimming various 100M, 200M & 400M events with the gruelling 800M & 1500M thrown in for good measure.

Four Gala ASC swimmers picked up eight championship titles from the 14 available which was a fantastic achievement and certainly bods well for another successful season for the Gala Club.

Lizi Clelland was back to her winning best picking up the Women’s 100M, 400M and 800M Freestyle trophies and rounded of a great afternoon with the women’s 400M IM title as well.

Sarah Frizzel put in a great swim to collect the 16 & Under 100M title.

Not to be out done by her older sister Laura Frizzel had two tremendous swims to win the Girls 12 & Under 200M Freestyle and 100M IM titles.

Just when it looked like it was going to be a Girls only day for Gala, Andrew Watt staked a claim for the boys by picking up the 400M IM title to round of a very successful afternoon for the club.
