BORDERS sprinter Libby Clegg will miss the World Para Athletics Championships in London, due to injury.
The star, who sustained a calf injury earlier this week, took to Twitter to announce she will miss the event which takes place this July.
Really sad to announce that due to injury I won't be competing at the World Championships in London @ParaAthletics

Clegg, who is visually impaired won gold medals in the 100m T11 and 200m T11 events at last year's Rio Paralympic Games.
The Newcastleton athlete also has a gold, a bronze and three silver medals from T12 events in the World Championships.
She also won the 100m T12 gold for Scotland at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
