GALA Fairydean Rovers are back in action tonight when Sandy Clark’s Albion Rovers visit Netherdale.

Despite dominating possession on Saturday Gala suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Civil Service Strollers.

Now manager Martin Scott is hoping to get back on track against Rovers sit who 15th in the division only three places off the bottom but have played four games less than Gala and are five points behind the Borders side.

Scott said: “We dominated the game possession wise and on another day we would have won but that’s football.

“It’s frustrating because our concentration let us down, but I have to give credit to Civil.

“Gary Jardine is a good manager and he had them well organised defensively and they stuck to their game plan.

“Sometimes you can learn things from your opponents, and I definitely liked how they were set up.

“We were knocking on the door toward the end, and there were a few goalmouth scrambles, but we couldn’t find that equaliser. We’re not ruthless enough in front of goal at times.

“And also we had a couple of penalty claims, once when Ethan (Dougall) was brought down and also when Jamie (Semple) was pulled back and I think we should probably have had one.”
