GALA Hotspur manager Jimmy Dunbar lifted the Ian Hume Memorial Shield following last week’s match between his team and a Gala Fairydean Rovers Select.
Ian had been a staunch supporter of Gala Rovers for decades.
He had played for the club - helping them to two South Cups in the early 1960s - before having to hang up his boots due to an ankle injury at the tender age of just 22.
Last week’s match finished one-all, but missed penalties from Steven Noble and Conrad Mckenzie meant the Hotspur got their hands on the trophy.
Ian’s son, Raymond, presented the Shield to Jimmy Dunbar.
