BOWLER Kenny Paterson fired Selkirk closer to the promotion spots against Leith at Philiphaugh.
Paterson’s four wickets for the loss of only 19 runs during his nine overs gave Selkirk a commanding position as they made their way to the crease.
Leith’s all out for 39 was never going to trouble last season’s Division 4 champions.
Despite losing Greg Fenton, for 15, and Staurt Skeldon, for 13, Selkirk reached the target with eight wickets to spare.
