A MAGICAL show is being rehearsed this week in Walkerburn Public Hall with its first public showing on Friday.
The Wizard of Oz staring a cast of local children and written by Sue Tickner, who has directed many pantomimes at Peebles’ Eastgate Theatre, is the third Oyster Theatre production in Walkerburn.
It follows the success of Alice in Wonderland in 2012 and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs last year.
This year’s pantomime and exciting adventure will be staged at Walkerburn Public Hall on Friday, December 12, at 7.30pm; Saturday, December 13, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm and Sunday, December 14, at 2.30pm.
The production is being supported by the Co-op Innerleithen and other local businesses.
