THE Borders has recorded 60 new cases of coronavirus over the last 24 hours, new data shows.
Updated figures were published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (July 14).
According to the data, the Borders has now recorded 4,156 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
There are eight people in hospital in the region with recently confirmed cases of the virus, the updated figures show.
On Tuesday, six people were in hospital in the Borders.
Scotland has now seen 321,202 cases of coronavirus, according to the updated figures.
