A NEW yellow warning for thunderstorms has been issued for the majority of the Borders.
The Met Office has already supplied two thunderstorm warnings this week for the region – one yellow and one amber.
Another yellow warning has now been issued for the majority of the Borders.

The Met Office alert covers the period 12.45pm-6pm today (July 28).
A Met Office spokesperson said: “Heavy showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop today, with some slow moving ones possible for a time, which could produce 20-30mm of rain in an hour and 40 to 60mm in three hours, along with lightning.”
The spokesperson added that the weather “may cause some disruption”.
